Austin Discovery School is a tuition-free charter school. We are "open enrollment", meaning we continually fill spots throughout the school year if any are available. When we have more applications than spaces, available spaces are filled through a random lottery each April for the upcoming school year. Siblings of currently enrolled students have priority.
Austin Discovery School does not discriminate in admissions based on gender, national origin, citizenship status, ethnicity, religion, disability, or the district the child would otherwise attend.

2. Come on a tour of the school:
Tours are offered during the months of October through March. To sign up, please contact us by calling, or email: info@austindiscoveryschool.org
3. Read the Parent Handbook:
Our Parent-Student Handbook has important information about Austin Discovery School as well as specific details about procedures and policies.
4. Fill out an admission application:
The Admission Application form is found on our website in English and Spanish.
5. Wait for Lottery Results
The lottery is conducted the first business day of April for the upcoming school year. Parents will receive an email offering enrollment as spots become available. You are welcome and encouraged to apply after April! Applicants will receive an email as spots become available.
6. Fill out an enrollment application
Once you accept a spot, please submit an enrollment form and copies/pictures of your child’s birth certificate, social security card, and immunization records.
