I graduated from the University of MS with Bachelor's degrees in Theater and Communication Sciences and Disorders. I received an M.A. from the University of TX of Austin in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Deaf Education. I am also a trainer of trainers for drama-based instruction. Throughout my sixteen years teaching in the Austin area, I have been privileged enough to work with ages ranging from kindergarten to high school, and I have continued my own love of learning through workshops for co-teaching, struggling reader's, inclusion practices, project-based learning as well as reading and writing workshop. This is my eighth year at ADS where I co-taught in classrooms and most recently provided intervention for ELA in small groups.
