Austin Discovery School is located on a 200-acre campus in east Austin. The campus once served as the Austin State School and is currently being renovated by the landowners to meet the needs of the community.
KIPP Academy Charter School and Kozmetsky Center for Child Protection currently share the property. The owners hope to add a sports complex, complete with swimming pool, tennis courts, baseball diamond, and a gym and offer summer and after-school activities for children.
The campus co-habitants share use of the acres of wooded hiking trails and beautiful pond.
